Contributions continue to increase both from current and new contributors
We appreciate the prompt response from the 2004 Foundation supporters as 57% of those contributors have sent in their 2005 contribution. Additionally, three new contributors have been added to the roles. Over 25% of the contributors have increased the 2004 contribution in 2005, and the net gain to date is over $20,000.
We urge all supporters to send their 2005 contribution by the end of the first quarter or March 31. This will enable the Foundation to better manage the available resources to finance ongoing and proposed initiatives.
Reserve the Dates
IEI will once again host two major golfing events during the NAMIC and PCI annual meetings.
The 16th Annual Golf Classic will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 on the Palmer Course located at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The event will immediately precede the NAMIC annual meeting, which begins on Sunday October 2 at the Marriott.
The Golf Benefit, now in it's fourth year, will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Harborside International Golf Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The PCI annual meeting will begin that evening at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Chicago.
New Format for Silent and Live Auctions
The IEI Board has opened up the Auction/Reception to all of the delegates attending the NAMIC Annual Convention. The format will combine food, refreshments and high quality products and packages for silent and live bidding. This combination will offer the convention delegates a lively and entertaining Saturday evening in Phoenix. In addition, there will be an online auction that will provide an option for those who cannot be in attendance at the event to bid on and purchase some great items.

Choice-Chance-Control kits available!
Thanks to State Farm, IEI has been able to obtain another 250 Choice-Chance-Control kits that are available free to teachers and at a modest cost to insurance industry representatives. Once this supply is depleted, there will be a limited number of videos only, and the teacher guide is available for downloading off the IEI web site.
To order the kit or video, go to http://www.IEI.org/edu/orderform.asp. Teachers use this form. Others will need to click on the "secure form" link located in the third bullet point.
