New Additions to Web Site

Submit Materials

If you are a teacher who has lesson plans, articles, or other materials that you would like to share with your peers across the country, a "submit materials" button has been added to the IEI web site. You can go directly to the form by clicking this link: http://www.IEI.org/general/materialform.asp.

Companies who have educational materials that they would like to make available to teachers may also use this form.

Press Releases

A press release archive has been added to the site as well. A link is located in the right-hand margin of the main page, or go to http://www.IEI.org/general/press.asp.

New PDF files available to download

IEI has recently added the 2005 Institute brochure, the 2004 Annual Report, and an informational brochure on what IEI offers to teachers. All of these documents are located on the main splash page, and throughout several other areas of the web site. Please contact Michelle Maclin (mmaclin@IEI.org) if you need assistance in locating and downloading one or more of these documents.

Newsletter Archive

A newsletter archive has been added to the site. Here http://www.IEI.org/educator/archive.asp you can find past issues of the e-newsletter, issues of the previous hard-copy newsletter, and issues of Foundation Facts, the now discontinued newsletter to contributors.

New materials available

IEI has recently review and approved some insurance company-produced educational material that is now available on our site for teachers' use.

These include WRECKED: Life and Death on the Road produced by Farmers Insurance Group, Auto Skid, produced by COUNTRY Insurance and Financial Services, and Real Teen Driving, produced by GEICO.

To learn more about these programs and to get order information, visit the Auto section of the Educators site at http://www.IEI.org/edu/auto/default.asp.

New order form for larger orders/teacher conferences

If your professional organization is conducting a teacher conference and you would like to place an order for large quantities of IEI materials, please take note of the new form for large orders on the materials order page at http://www.IEI.org/edu/orderform.asp (fourth bullet point).
