IEI Supporters Set New Benchmarks
 The Foundation just finished the Third Annual Golf Benefit at the PCI annual meeting in Washington, DC. Ninety-six golfers participated at the Renditions Golf Course, just outside of Annapolis, Maryland. Thanks to some great sponsors and willing players, the tournament's net proceeds exceeded 2003 by nearly forty percent.

2005 Pledge Drive
We are delighted with the very positive response to the 2005 pledge campaign. Current and future contributors received a letter a few weeks ago asking that IEI be included in their company’s 2005 budget.

Check Out the New IEI Website
A few months ago the IEI board and staff met with teachers to get their suggestions on how we could provide more and better teaching tools for the classroom. Because of their input, the IEI website has been totally revamped to make it more "teacher friendly."

IEI Launches Network With Teachers Program
With the upcoming release of the new teaching kit, Risk-Responsibility-Reality, the Foundation is launching a new networking opportunity for insurance companies and agents. The purpose is to enable insurance representatives to create new relationships with high school teachers.

How Will We Measure Our Progress?
We are excited about the insurance industry’s opportunities to effectively educate young people about managing the risk they face in their everyday lives. Knowledge and awareness will enable these future consumers to better understand the risk transfer process and the implications of irresponsible actions, such as fraud and frivolous lawsuits.
