Overview
Life Insurance: Policy Basics is the final lesson plan for the life insurance unit. This lesson plan evaluates the ins and outs of a life insurance policy. Topics covered include contract vocabulary, applying for life insurance, and filing a life insurance claim.
Objectives
The students will:
Analyze a life insurance contract
Understand life insurance contract vocabulary
Present the key components to various life insurance policy types

Procedures:
Download/View the lesson procedures.
Assessment:
Divide the students into five groups. Assign each group one of the following types of insurance: term, whole, limited payment whole life, variable and universal. Hand out a rubric for presentation assessment.
Students will give an 8-10 minute presentation on their findings
