Overview

Homeowners Insurance: Renters Insurance is designed for students who will soon be leaving home. The 30 lesson plan is designed to follow-up Homeowners Insurance: The Basics. Students will understand terminology used in a renters insurance contract. Students will also research the importance of taking inventory in case of a claim.

Objectives

The students will:

Discuss ways to prevent home loss claims

Recognize basic renter's insurance terminology

Determine that renters insurance is a valuable financial tool
