Overview

Health Insurance: Government Insurance and Rising Healthcare Costs is the second part of the health insurance lessen unit. This lesson is designed to take 30 minutes. Students will understand federal health insurance plans including COBRA, HIPAA, Medicaid, and Medicare. Students will also be able to identify some of the major problems with the healthcare problems in the United States.

Objectives

The students will:

Identify healthcare problems in the United States

Understand Government programs COBRA, HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid
