Automobile Insurance: Coverage Types

Overview

Automobile Insurance: Coverage Types is the second part of the automobile lessen unit. This lesson is designed to take 30 minutes. Students will understand why it is important to have insurance to get their car on the road. Students will understand the basic types of automobile insurance coverage types and how a deductible applies in insurance.

Objectives

The students will:

Estimate the MSRP of 3 cars

State the 3 items needed to put their car "on the road"

List at least 5 reasons they need insurance

Define basic insurance terms

Determine their insurance coverage needs and explain their choice
